What do you do in the middle of January when hurricane-force winds rip a piece of siding off the second floor of your house? On 9/30/03 I had just moved into my new first home and found I had no hot water and appliances were not working. After getting nowhere with the real estate people for help, I called HOCOA, spoke with a customer service representative named Mark, explained the problem and the grief I was going through. He promptly assured me he would get an electrician out to the house ASAP. In less then four hours a professional contractor arrived, within one hour he found the new meter that was just installed was shorting out the house, reported it to C.L&P ,also found and fixed a leak on the service entrance on the roof.
